When you have no voice, there are other ways to reach out
Dhara Mariani

Inspired by the slip notes secretly delivered from a victim of domestic abuse. This campaign wants to raise awareness of the many avenues that victims can reach out by such as the supermarket, post office or a video call, can all be the right place to take the first most difficult step and speak out.

Thinking about people that are being forced to stay with their abuser during lockdown is heartbreaking, in difficult times tension can quickly increase and the victim can easily justify unacceptable behaviours. Despite the complexity of this issue every 30 seconds the police receive a call for help relating to domestic abuse. This campaign shows how powerful a small thing such as a piece of paper or a hand gesture can be to get the help that you need.
